The intended architecture
MIYO is planned as a proactive companion that can observe routines and initiate conversation, rather than only responding to commands.
Intended voice path
Wake-word detection and audio capture are planned on-device, with voice orchestration, reasoning, and task execution in the cloud.
Memory
The design includes persistent per-user memory so the companion can recall past interactions and preferences.
Design target
MIYO is being designed for a voice round-trip targeting sub-300 ms end to end.
